Independent China-side custom wig sourcing support

Have a difficult wig requirement? Start with a reference photo.

Duo helps turn comfort-sensitive, discreet or technically complex wig requirements into clear specifications that suitable Chinese factories can assess, quote and develop.

No complete specification yet? That is normal. The first step is asking the right questions.

What a photo cannot show

One photo shows the look.
The right questions reveal the fit.

Comfort, cap construction, attachment and head size determine what a factory can assess and quote.

A simulated example

From one hairstyle image to a factory-ready discussion.

This is an illustrative workflow, not a completed client case. It shows why several hidden decisions need to be clarified before a suitable factory can assess the request.

First, understand the wearer

Internal cap structure

Daily wear time, scalp sensitivity, ventilation, attachment and head measurements affect the cap construction. A comfortable solution cannot be chosen from the hairstyle alone.

Lace and hairline

The desired hairline, parting area, skin tone, application method and tolerance for adhesive all influence lace choice and front construction.

Density and workmanship

Low density is not only a percentage. Hair direction, knot visibility, parting behaviour, edge transition and how the density is distributed all matter.

Final look and purchasing conditions

Length, colour, texture and silhouette are confirmed alongside quantity, timing, sample expectations and the level of development required.

How it works

Clarify first. Then ask the right factory to assess.

Duo does not send every request to a long list of suppliers. The goal is to make the request understandable, then approach a suitable factory with enough context to give a meaningful response.

01

Send a reference photo

Share the look, problem or idea—even if the description is incomplete.

02

Clarify wearing and product details

Duo asks about the wearer, scalp sensitivity, comfort, attachment, size, use case, colour, density, texture and hairline.

03

Approach a suitable factory

Familiar, relatively trusted factories are considered first. If they cannot make it, development options are discussed before searching for a new specialist source.

04

Follow samples and critical changes

Key details are checked through sampling, revisions and communication so the original need is not lost along the way.

Specialist sourcing focus

Medical wig sourcing, hair-loss solutions and custom development.

Duo supports overseas medical-wig providers, hair-loss solution businesses, specialist salons and wig brands when a request needs more interpretation than an ordinary catalogue product.

Real work, shown honestly

Proof is in the checking, communication and follow-up.

Complete case studies will be added only when they exist. For now, these are real working moments and process evidence.

How a vague request is recorded

A working specification, not a forwarded chat message.

Common questions

Before asking for an exact quote.

Why can’t a factory quote accurately from one reference photo?

A photo usually shows the external look, but not the cap construction, size, attachment method, lace area, density distribution, hair material or comfort requirements. Different interpretations can create very different costs and results.

What affects the final quotation?

The confirmed specification, material, cap construction, lace or base, length, density, colour, quantity, sample route, timing and amount of development work all affect the quotation.

Can Duo help if the requirement is still vague?

Yes. That is often the best point to start. Send the reference image and explain the main problem or wearing concern. Duo will identify the missing questions before contacting a factory.

Does Duo only work with large wholesale orders?

No. Small-batch development can be appropriate when the requirement is real and specific. Quantity still matters because it affects factory willingness, sampling and cost.

Is Duo a medical provider or wig factory?

No. Duo is an independent China-side sourcing assistant. Product and sourcing support does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Start with what you have
